back in sec sch, there were 5 express stream classes
of which only two had Malay students
while girls of both classes were friendly to each other
we were actually sort of two different group of cliques

during my first semester in Melbourne, i lost my mobile
together with it, i lost all my contacts with my sec sch mates
it was only while going through my tagboard archives
did i realise that one of my sec sch mates had left her email

so about two days ago, i added her to my msn
and last night, she logged in and we caught up with each other
she also filled me in about the rest of the girls

4 of the 5 girls from the other class have hit the dais
one already has a one-year-old son!
another is 6-months preggers!
the final one will hit the dais soon, as she's engaged!

as for the cliques from my class, one will be wedded in Dec!
the other four of us, including moi, are still taking our time! haha!

AND, between all ten of us, 5 are teachers! imagine that! haha!

we HAVE to meet up soon ayte babes?

on a totally different note, my parents are finding Paris boring!
yes!! Paris!!! THE city of ROMANCE!! and they find it boring!
*slaps forehead*

they're not exactly the artsy-fartsy, history buffs
visiting museums and cathedrals type of people
why, even a trip to Disneyland Paris
would be a waste of money to them haha!!

in light of them being in Paris, i dug out them pics
from my Europe trip wayy back in 2000
(boy, has it been 5 years already??)

here are just some of them

my nyayi is so cute!! haha!!

she saw the guy who plays sean's dad on OC
then she said 'deknie dulu muda lawa tau
sape ntah nama dia, dah lupa pulak'

then she continued to relate to me
of how even though she didn't understand english
she used to watch them at Rex

my darling nyayi at Rex?
i am so, so tickled by the thought! hehehe!

weekend was hectic, yet fulfilling *grins*

saturday afternoon...

saturday night after maghrib
together with dear nyayi, aunt and sister's mr. boyfriend
we had dinner here...

last night after maghrib
sent off the parents and sister at the airport
the maternal relatives were there
and so were the kiddos! wheee!!

there was, however, a pretty disturbing sight as well...

nobody was hurt when the photo was taken

random thought number one:
i haven't jogged for over two weeks
i have been consuming briyani for the past four days
both of which, make a very, very bad combination
i was beginning to get sick of the briyani
but because the dowager cooked assam rebus fish today
i'd rather choose the former over the latter

random thought number two:
i haven't choose an outfit for saturday
the dowager suggested wearing a top and skirt
but i only have pink, black and brown skirt
which so does not go with my band colour
to match the band colour, was suggested green
by the self-appointed, chick lit fan fashion guru
with olive coloured tudung and silver brooch
i have green pantsuit and 'abaya, both i like very much
just don't know which to choose for the occasion

random thought number three:
of late, been thinking of the friend studying in Syria
wonder how he is doing right now

random thought number four:
RYC's 'soft' launch was last sunday
would have kaypoh-ed my way at it if wasn't busy
they had so many items lined up for the day
all of which i would not have been able to join anyway
due to the age limit, which makes me feel old

random thought number five:
the parents will be away for twelve days come monday
looking forward to having the house to myself
albeit with the dear nyayi being around to help
miss having the independence, the control of deciding
what to cook, when to do laundry, when to vacuum, etc

random thought number six:
it is september, the start of spring down under
ahh, it will be but absolutely lovely there
with the buds of leaves and flowers popping on the trees
the air feeling and smelling oh so sweet
do i sound homesick? perhaps i am
i actually had a dream last week, dreamt i was in melbourne
the weather was gorgeous, with puffy white clouds
blue, blue sky and cooling, windy wind
i breathed in the air, and it smelt and tasted of spring
then i had to wake up, and i was back in reality

random thought number seven:
i hope i would have not to come to a point
where i have to decide between doing what i really want
and what they really want me to do
while i truly understand they want me to do that
because they believe it's the best
i would really like to explore that other option
if i am successful after this next step
needless to say, if that point does come
i think it is going to be ugly
as i am not about to give up without a fight

random thought number eight:
i made the dare on the spur of the moment
while i do not regret making the dare
i am now worried at having to handle two bitches at once
one bitch at a time i can manage, but two? *hmm*
should be interesting at how it will turn out

random thought number nine:
i am so, so looking forward to the next hijri month
i just love the atmosphere for that month
i hope my fave hafiz will be back for the month
i also hope to be able to achieve my goals for the month

random thought number ten:
i don't like having too much time on my hands at times
as it makes me think too much, like right now
