after lunch was sent on errand to SGH
using the company hired cab
the taxi driver was friendly, making conversation throughout
one of the topics he brought up was about religion and god
Buddhism, Chrisitianity, Hindu, Islam semua bohong said he
no religion tells the truth, according to him

a part of me wanted to rebutt strongly, vehemently
i mean although i'm not so bitchy or skillful in rebutting
would still put up a fight, but decided to sit back
and let him have his say
'your genes, cleverness, etc all these
evolved from your last time ancestors one'
i put on a scrunched up, intruiged face and asked
'then where they get all those genes from?' luck, said he
'then where they get this luck from?' i asked

i let it go eventually
coz his arguments stemmed from a bitter failed businessman
and having to turn to driving a cab for a living instead

sad i think, people like these, who don't believe in religion

was informed of tonight's NurIkhwan's get together dinner
a part of me really wanted to attend it
since haven't met them since i came back
tad disheartened when Hafiz and Wan said they wouldn't be able to make it
but eventually, Hafiz could make it after all so *yeah*

had a blissful time catching up with everyone
still same old problems with musollah places in TP
guerilla method seems the best way to overcome it
still same old problem with funding from YMS as well
nevertheless, i am so, so proud of the way NI have evolved

Shaw House again tomorrow

with 5 more months to go, i started to check it out last night
and it kinda overwhelmed me, what i had read
contemplated, maybe i should forget about it after all

mulled over it while trying to sleep
and i came to the conclusion that i should, at least, try
coz i don't want to look back and think
what would have happened if i had tried?
at least by trying, i could say, well at least now i know

i give myself another one more month, two at the most

He will make it easy for me to accept it with an open heart

bumped into 3 different friends in town
from 3 different separate social circle of friends

with plans to do Banking and Finance at SIM next year

there were of course my airheaded moments yesterday

instead of taking the EW line all the way to JE
i changed at City Hall, not double-checking my actions
of course it took me like almost 2hours to get there!

and he said 2 stops away, but i HAD to miss the first one
so had to walk a bit to the mosque! wahahaha!

but then can't blame me also you know!
the only places am familiar are here, Hougang and town

tuesday morn set out to hand over money
all the way at Broadway Hotel in Little India
was a tad apprehensive about the whole thing actually
like hey i don't know who this fella is
what if he's some crook?

assured myself chances of that happening would be slim
since this was something someone i trusted asked me to do

my doubts were pretty baseless after all
he wasn't there when i arrived but met his sisters
and the said baby Rashid
he is one peramah baby you know
always smiling despite his pain

in the afternoon went to collect my cargo with my daddy
must say that their way of doing things is pretty inefficient
send us here send us there, collect this collect that
before can actually get the things *tsks*

the condition of my things were generally okay
although any longer it would be pretty worrying
instructed by dowager to unpack foodstuffs
the brother dived in on the chocolates

jemaah-ed at Ghufran before meeting Aisyah and the cousin
had a wonderful time catching up with them
spent like 2 hours yakking away i think
sampai got chased out of Food Culture *heh*
am really glad that our cousin-ship got rekindled

unpacked cargo on wednesday
i brought back so much freaking junk!!
had a hard time trying to fit everything into my wardrobe
still yet to organise my study table
which has actually become a place for the tv in this room

went jogging in the evening
in fact i went jogging for the next three days!
*so proud of self*

started job searching on thursday
tuned up resume and stuffs, sent out emails, etc
found out thursday tv programme is quite entertaining eh?

cooked on friday while mom did a bit of spring cleaning
this house really needs to have a garage sale or something
makin lama makin banyak benda kat dalam *tsks*
sent out more applications too

early saturday morning cleared out wardrobe
as instructed by the dowager
dad had jemputan at Johor yesterday
so she took the chance to give away some clothes

planned to visit Bik Jun in the evening with the sister
but she had plans to go out with her family

then got beeped by two different group of friends
had to reluctantly turn down the latter
since already given my word to the first
so it was 'The Island' with Aisha and Mail
walked around town for a bit before heading home around 10

agreed to a lunch date the next day
with the turned down friends the previous day
but Bik Jun was over at Papa's visiting Nyayi
and i really reallly reallly reallly wanted to see her kids
hated to do it, but backed out of the date eventually

went there with the sister in the evening
she drove, albeit 7 tries of getting out of the parking lot
and further tries in parking properly in the middle of the lot
you need to twist daddy's arm more in getting to drive the car k?

had a ball of a time, meeting Mairah and Dessy
look see look see Nyayi's umrah and holiday pics
got absolutely stuffed eating Bik Siti's mee tomato

Maghrib-ed there, then spontaneous shopping trip at TM and CS
all her fault *points at sister*
she bought boots for London, while i bought white pants!
now i can finally wear that blue kurta from last year
recce-ed for skirts as well at oamc
think i shall start wearing skirts as well from now on

dropped by Bik Na's on the way home
mainly because the sister requested for help with something

initially wanted to send laptop for service this morning
but figured should get applications out first
so emailed more applications this morning
and printed out quite a number to be snail mail-ed as well

so yeap, that was my week
not bad aye for a first week being home?
